FLAT GASKET STEEL/EPDM
A flange gasket with a steel insert in EPDM is a sealing component that combines the flexibility of EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) rubber with the strength of an internal steel core. This design enhances the gasket's stability and resistance to high-pressure loads. The steel insert ensures a solid surface pressure and supports the gasket's centering within the flange, reducing the risk of leaks and improving the overall reliability of the system.
Additionally, these gaskets require less surface pressure, making them ideal for use in thin and plastic flanges.
