SOCKET AND SPIGOT SET – TYPE A

This loose socket and spigot set is designed for use with socket welding machines, ensuring reliable and precise heating of plastic pipes and fittings made from materials such as PE, PP, and PVDF. The set includes one heating socket and one spigot, working together to provide efficient and even heating of both the pipe and fitting for optimal welding quality.

Manufactured from durable, heat-resistant materials—typically with a non-stick coating (e.g., PTFE/Teflon)—these tools prevent plastic from sticking and are easy to clean. Available in standard sizes to fit common piping systems, the tools are quick and easy to mount on the welding machine.

This particular model is longer than the standard model, usually referred to as a Type B. This type is typically used when a calibration tool is NOT used on the pipe before welding.
