ROTATIONAL PIPE SCRAPER - UNIPREP

Caldertech’s Uniprep is a range of rotary scraping tools designed for preparing PE pipes for electrofusion welding. The tools effectively remove the outer oxidized layer from the pipe surface, which is a critical prerequisite for achieving a strong and reliable weld. Uniprep tools are made from lightweight aluminum and stainless steel, making them both durable and easy to handle on-site.

 

The tool's cutting head is equipped with a four-sided tungsten blade, ensuring precise and consistent scraping. Its spring-loaded design allows the tool to adapt to the contour of the pipe, maintaining a constant scraping depth of approximately 0.25 mm ± 0.05 mm—even when minor irregularities are present in the pipe shape.
