PLASSON ELECTRO FUSION SENSOR ADAPTOR - STAINLESS STEEL THREAD
The PLASSON sensor adaptor is an electrofusion saddle designed for easy and secure installation of sensors or similar equipment directly onto PE pipes in water and gas distribution systems. The saddle is electrically welded onto the pipe, ensuring a tight and durable connection. The thread is made of stainless steel, providing high mechanical strength, wear resistance, and excellent corrosion protection—ideal for applications where a reliable threaded connection is essential over time.
This sensor adaptor is a unique solution on the market and is approved for full operating pressure in utility networks, making it especially suitable for applications where both safety and functionality are critical. It offers a flexible and efficient option for retrofitting measuring or monitoring devices without requiring major modifications to the existing pipe system.
Special tools are required for proper installation—these can be rented or purchased from Plast-Line A/S.
