PLASSON ELECTRO FUSION TAPPING SADDLE - PARALLEL

The Plasson electrofusion saddle is a reliable and efficient solution for creating new connections on existing PE pipes while under full operating pressure. This fitting is ideal for utility networks where uninterrupted service is required during installation. The integrated valve allows for secure shut-off and controlled opening after the connection is complete. This model is with a parallel outlet.

Part of Plasson’s comprehensive range of electrofusion fittings, this saddle is equipped with the advanced Smartfuse system, which automatically adjusts welding parameters to reduce the risk of installation errors. When used with Plasson’s electrofusion welding machines, it ensures a consistent and durable joint. Each fitting is supplied with a label featuring a barcode for the welding program, along with a separate barcode providing traceability and cooling time information. The label also clearly indicates the compatible SDR pipe class.

The coupling is compatible with PE80, PE100, and PE100-RC pipes and can be welded onto pipes ranging from SDR7 to SDR11. It is manufactured in black and approved according to recognized standards such as Nordic Polymark, DK-Vand, EN12201, EN1555, NF 136, and ISO 9001. The fitting is designed to withstand a maximum water pressure of 16 bar and a gas pressure of 10 bar. The operational temperature range is from -20 °C to +60 °C.

For tapping into pipes with wall thickness greater than SDR11, it is recommended to contact Plast-Line A/S for technical guidance.
